Electrogator II™ Lateral Move Power Tower

Lateral move systems are built to last, using high strength steel in all structural components. Designed to irrigate square or rectangular fields, Reinke lateral move systems travel in a straight line across the field. They are available as either canal feed or hose drag systems, with a variety of options to meet your specific requirements and conserve water.

A lateral move system can irrigate nearly 100% of any rectangular or square field. What’s more, you can rely on your Reinke Dealer to help determine the best lateral move system for your irrigation needs.

Center Drive

The Reinke Center Drive is engineered to give you years of trouble free service. Its high efficiency gear motor delivers exceptional torque to propel your system over the roughest terrain and worst soil conditions.

Only Reinke offers you a choice of three output RPM’s to match tire size and rotation time to your specific needs. Output RPM available: standard speed 36 RPM, high speed 73 RPM and low speed 24 RPM. A combination of these output RPM’s can be used to provide a smooth, even water application to your crop.

Pivoting Lateral Move

Reinke’s Pivoting Lateral Move (PLM) irrigation system is our most versatile lateral move system. The PLM can irrigate two sides of a rectangular field, allowing you to irrigate twice as many acres with just one lateral move system. No towing is necessary with the PLM. When the system is finished with one side of the field, it pivots easily to irrigate the other side (must be pivoted dry). It uses just one cart path. For the ultimate in versatility and efficiency the Reinke PLM is the right choice in lateral move systems. Available with hose drag only.

PTO Water Pumps

These rugged, efficient pumps are usually supplied mounted on a two wheeled cart making them very easy to handle.

Pumps are supplied with cart, PTO drive shaft and weld-on companion flanges or fitted with priming valve, primer, pressure gauge, and suction adapter.

A dependable step-up gearbox is an integral part of these well proven pumps. The gearbox shafts are supported by heavy duty widely spaced bearings. The box is oil lubricated and some models are also water cooled.

Fitted pumps are supplied with a discharge priming valve, pressure gauge, short suction adapter and a priming pump. Above 2" the priming valves are fitted with a spring loaded external lever permitting the system to be drained if required.

Berkeley Centrifugal Pumps

Berkeley pumps are Water pumps of large cast iron centrifugals. Berkeley pumps for irrigation, water falls, water truck pump, fire and other water pumping needs. Berkeley pumps are orange color.

Aluminum Pipe

Choose from aluminum, galvanized, stainless steel, corrosion resistant chromium nickel +, or poly lined, each with its own unique ability to resist various types of corrosive materials and its own unique structural characteristics. With more than 30 years of field experience working with a variety of pipe types, including chromium nickel + and aluminum, Reinke and its dealers can easily recommend and supply the best pipe material for your water quality and application needs.

PVC Water Pipe

Corrosion Resistance: PVC is an inert material that is non-reactive to pH’s ranging from 1 through 13. Corrosion is a nuisance plaguing water systems throughout North America and is the single greatest contributor to the decay of existing buried pipe infrastructure. It has been estimated by a recent study performed by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) that annually, more than $36 billion are wasted in water and sewer systems throughout the U.S. due to corrosion. PVC provides an excellent deterrent for both internal and external corrosion associated with water systems.

Improved Hydraulics: Numerous experimental and real-life data provide testimony of PVC’s smooth internal characteristics in its long-term performance. For PVC pressure systems, a conservative Hazen-Williams “C” factor of 150 is widely accepted and used. This equates to a much lower lifetime pumping and maintenance costs. Similarly, the accepted value of Manning “n” for PVC gravity pipes is 0.009. This is significantly lower than that of traditional piping materials such as clay or concrete, which have a Mannings “n” value of 0.013.

Double Swivel

Double Swivel enables you to turn around at the end of the field without backing up. The double swivel works great for any pull type injection tool bar.

Hose Reels

Hydro has many hose reels available. From a single hose reel to a hose reel that handles 1.5 miles of 6" hose or 1 mile of 8" hose. Hose reels come PTO or hydraulic driven.

Manure Reels

Designed specifically for nutrient management application, the Cadman M series is the world’s first hard hose drag line system.

It can be used in conjunction with Cadman’s liquid manure boom for surface application or adapt to a wide variety of incorporation or injection applicators.
